Making puppets, creating stories and animating them open up inner worlds.
Making Worlds is not a book of therapy but the stories and particularly the puppets can be therapeutic. As puppets come to life they reveal or to put it in the words of one puppet, a wizard made in a workshop on a First Nations Reservation in Canada, “if we conceal, we can’t heal”. Puppets tend to reveal, they are live, animated signatures of the people who make them.
